Why do I need to register on the site before I can place an order?

Establishing an online account with assures you that your purchasing information is secure, confidential and accessible to you. Once you establish an account, you will only need to sign-in to place an order in the future, check on the status of your current order, view past purchases or update your profile information.


What are the payment methods available?

Currently two payment options are available for our valuable customers.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Direct Bank Transfer – Deposit the payment direct in the account of UBooks and attach the slip with your order. Your order will be processed once your payment is verified with the bank.

How will UBooks refund my amount for approved return?

Amount will be refunded to you only by JazzCash,Easypaisa or customer’s bank account. Customers should have mobile account for Jazz Cash and Easypaisa as it will make the refund practice smooth and fast.


Does Ubooks deal in only new and original books?

Yes, UBooks only deals in new, original and genuine books. You will get the books you have paid for. No pirated or copied version.

What books can I purchase from Ubooks?

You can purchase all kinds of school textbooks, College books, O and A levels, guide Books, Aptitude Test, General Knowledge, dictionaries and many more from Ubooks. You can also request a book or send the complete requirements in form of book list.

Can the complete course be purchased from UBooks?

Yes, complete course can be purchased by selecting each product individually. Customer can also send us the course list by Contact Us form. That complete course will be uploaded on the website as a separate product.

Can the ‘out of stock’ product be ordered?

No, product marked as ‘out of stock’ cannot be ordered but it can be added in the ‘wishlist’.

Will the product be identical to the pictures publicized/displayed?

Yes, product will be identical to the pictures displayed. But there may be cases when the items are restocked; publisher only changes the title page of the book. Therefore, we do not have any option than to give the item to the customer with new title. Inside page pages of the book remain same.

Why did the price of my book change?

There might be a possibility of increase in prices when the inventory is restocked. Our vendors sometimes change the prices without prior notice.

Why is price mentioned on UBooks is higher than price mentioned on the book?

It happens when publisher/vendor has changed the price of the book in his products price lists but has not updated price tag on the book. The prices written on the website and invoice are final.


How long does it take to process the order?

Each order will be processed in a span of maximum 24 hours. UBooks cut off time for orders is 3 pm daily.

If there are multiple items ordered, will they be delivered at the same time? If not, then will the payment be in portions or otherwise?

In cases where multiple items are ordered, typically we ship all the items in one package. In case of any exception, customers will be informed and payments will be adjusted accordingly.

I received the wrong product, what can I do now?

You can contact us through contact us forms, email at or call us and let us know about the problem. We will resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Note: Upon placing the order, customer will receive an order confirmation email from UBooks. Ubooks has the right to do telephonic or SMS verification of orders whenever it requires.


My order hasn't arrived yet; can I check the status of my order?

Customers can check the status of their orders by signing in their accounts on the website. Website will give the order status as pending, shipped or delivered. For detailed tracking, customers will have to contact us.

How long will you take to deliver the books?

It will take around a day or 2 business days to deliver the books in Karachi once the order is shipped.

For other major cities, it may take 3-4 to business days. For remote areas, delivery time may be up to 6-7 business days.

How many attempts will the delivery agent make to deliver the parcel?

Delivery agent will make two attempts to deliver the parcel. Please make sure that you have entered the correct mobile number, address and postal code with your order. Please also be responsive to your mobile phone number as the rider might call you before coming.

What happens if there's been a delivery mishap to my order? (damaged or lost delivery)

We take such matters very seriously and will look into individual cases thoroughly. Any sample that falls under the below categories should not be thrown away before taking photo proof of the affected sample. Please refer to the return policy as well


Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel the order before dispatch. As soon as the order is shipped then you don’t have the option to cancel. Our cut off time for shipping the orders is 3 pm daily.
